DALLAS, TX, March 08, 2007 - CS Publications, a Texas-based publisher of Internet directories, has launched a new directory aimed at making the world a little bit safer for those who need to transport precious cargo overland. "It is the first and only website of its kind in the world," says Cheryl Lyman, president of CS Publications. The new armored vehicle directory (www.armoredvehicledirectory.com) includes armored vehicle rentals, sales and other resources for the security minded.

The market for armored vehicles is extremely brisk in North America according to Peter Zoumboulikas of Inkas Armored Vehicle Manufacturing, (www.inkasarmored.com). "We noticed a few years ago the double-digit growth in our North American sales," says the Canadian security executive. "It's clear that the market for armored vehicles is growing, and now with the introduction of rentals, we believe it will grow even more."

One of the firms featured in the new directory is Armored Vehicle Rental.com, operated by Fort Worth entrepreneur and DFW Elite Auto Rental.com owner Ron Sturgeon. "Our clients are thinking more about personal safety, and our nationwide delivery and pickup makes peace of mind much easier to arrange," he said. "And the new directory should make us even easier to find."


"Each of our directory sites has been created when we felt there was a service that we could provide that didn't exist elsewhere," says Lyman. "We were getting requests to list armored vehicle rental companies on the Rent Exotic Cars Network, so we did research and found that there wasn't a directory specific to the armored vehicle rental industry," explains Lyman. "Just as the case with the Rent Exotic Cars Network directory site and with the Exotic Car Clubs.com directory, we saw a way to harness the web to provide valuable information to consumers and to create a worthwhile Internet resource."

The Armored Vehicle Directory makes finding a local provider easy for those seeking armored car rentals. Each firm is listed by state with a link to its web site and contact information. In addition, CS Publications plans to expand the new directory to include information on armored car purchases, security systems, bodyguards, detectives and private investigators. CS Publications is accepting limited advertising on the site and has a section for news articles on armored vehicles and links to relevant resources.
