NEW DELHI, INDIA, October 19, 2006 - A new mobile technology revolution is on the verge of revolution with WiMAX ready to take India by storm. WiMAX is not only publicized as 30 times faster than 3G mobile technology and 100 times faster than wireless data rates but is also anticipated to cure the problems of rural connectivity.

Rural connectivity is promised as long as power supply is available, PCs are given, local languages are used in developing content and people are provided with the training of using PCs.
